How Contour works
A remote-only marketplace for Australian landscape design work, with escrow on every job and a commission that falls as your record grows.
1. Post a project
Write the brief: site size, style direction, file formats and any council requirements. Set a budget in AUD and pick your region — QLD, VIC, NSW or Australia-wide. Posting is free.
2. Get matched
Verified designers apply with a quote, a cover note and a portfolio. Compare their tier badge, completed job count and client reviews, then hire the one you want.
3. Pay securely
Fund escrow once and Contour holds the money. The designer starts knowing the funds exist; you release payment only when the deliverables land.

Payment is taken upfront via Stripe and recorded against the project.

Funds are held in escrow
The project shows 'In escrow (protected)'. The designer can start with confidence.

Work is delivered in-platform
Drafts and files are exchanged in the private project thread.

Client releases the payment
Escrow is released, commission is deducted at the designer's tier rate, and the job counts towards their next tier.
